I am a changed woman from attending classes

Sgt. Superglue! I arrived in Physiofit Woman last February, bent, broken and wincing in pain. I attend physiotherapy and Pilates classes with Deborah and I am a changed woman as a result.

I thought half of my problems and back pain were due to a fall a few years ago and the other half was due to carrying and lifting my gorgeous (but heavy) baby girl. But actually after 3 years of physio treatment and Pilates with several different therapists, I realise I had never been given the right treatment or advice and I'd kept giving up.

Deborah approaches things a different way both in physio sessions and her classes and she is genuinely concerned about each of her patients and wants to see them improve and manage on their own. The reason I call her Sgt. Superglue is because she has literally stuck me back together. I no longer resemble the Hunchback of Notredame (I hope) and it is because I can constantly hear Deborah's commands in my head, whether I'm pushing the buggy, drying my hair, sitting at my desk, lifting the baby or getting ready for a night out.

I catch myself slouching and I immediately "Draw the V", "Stop clenching!", "Find your neutral!" "SQUEEZE THE PEA!". This is what works, Deborah will know if you have done your homework! Classes are small so you get attention to detail and I feel safe knowing we will only do exercises at our own ability level.

I'm still there a year later (...although Deborah has tried to get move us on ever since we graduated from the postnatal level ) but she really is the best in the business so I hope she won't be giving us our marching orders any time soon!
