Pilates One on One

Pilates One on One

Pilates One on One - Pilates is a wonderful type of exercise for improving your core stability. Improving your core stability helps you correct your postural imbalances and significantly improves back pain.

Having Pilates One on One sessions allows you to exercise according to your needs, your specific posture-type and can address your muscular imbalances and particular areas of tension.

Our Pilates One on One sessions can be scheduled at a time that suits you. These sessions are basically personal training sessions with you and your Pilates instructor.

During a one on one session, your individual needs will be assessed, your health history discussed, and your goals laid out. From the initial session, your posture will be assessed and an individual exercise program will be developed for you to undertake in the subsequent sessions. Individual concerns that can be addressed may include posture, strength, flexibility, specific injuries or chronic conditions.

Benefits of taking our  Pilates One on One sessions are:

FAQs

Do I require a private consultation with the Physiotherapist before starting Pilates one-to-one?

Yes, we would recommend a 1st session for Assessment and hands-on treatment as this will allow the Physiotherapist to assess and immediately address what needs to be addressed  before starting exercising.

You will also require to attend our 2h Posture Workshop before booking your first one-to-one Physio-Pilates session with your Physiotherapist.

This is the basis of any of our Physiolates Programmes and it will enhance and facilitate your Pilates practice.

How many sessions should I take?

The number of sessions you should take will be entirely dependent on your particular goals and individual needs. This will all be discussed with your Physiotherapist.

You must attend our 2h Posture and Pelvic Floor Workshop before booking your first one-to-one session with your Physiotherapist. Together with your instructor you can decide what will be the best option to reach your goal: 30min or 60min sessions.

For best results, you should try to schedule sessions minimum once a week.  Learning Pilates and improving along the way also relies on your active participation and practice outside the sessions.

You can start whenever your schedule allows and you can arrange a session with the Chartered Physiotherapist. Contact Us  today to get started on your personal Pilates journey.
